Lake Logan Episcopal Center

Lake Logan Center, nestled in the Pisgah National Forest southwest of Asheville, was once a retreat for the executives of Champion Paper Company. Lake Logan is surrounded by more than 5,000 acres of pristine forest land, saved from further development by the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina, acting in conjunction with the North Carolina Conservation Fund, the U.S. Forest Service, and the State of North Carolina.

Lake Logan offers lodging, dining, recreational and meeting facilities for conferences, retreats, family reunions, weddings and personal retreats. The center welcomes all denominations and secular groups and can comfortably house 80 adults in a variety of cabins and cottages. Cabins are equipped with kitchenettes, telephone, and linens. Most of them have fireplaces, a lakefront deck, and a spacious den suitable for small meetings.

Today, the Lake Logan Episcopal Center offers a unique environment for education and recreation for all people. The Center offers a variety of programming, including environmental and arts programs.
